Last Sunday’s Mad Men left me in tears. Joan supports Peggy. Peggy supports Megan. And Megan’s mom “supports” Roger. It was such a powerful episode about women: while ambivalent in meaning, I couldn’t help but feel real glee as Joan once again was the most bad-ass, understanding, wise soul on the show. As with every episode of Mad Men, you aren’t sure if the world is utterly doomed, but at least in this episode, there were gasps of hope.
